Shoe Candy
The idea for Shoe Candy came about after I had been to Florida in Fall of 2004 to play in two tennis tournaments within one month. You’re probably thinking “what does tennis have to do with Shoe Candy!” The answer is RAIN DELAYS! While we were waiting for the rain to stop so we could resume play, we had no choice but to SHOP……
My girlfriends & I went to a great shoe boutique and played dress up and bought lots of shoes. We also got very creative with the shipping so husbands and boyfriends did not go into total shock. (I’m sure some of you know exactly what I’m talking about!). Upon returning home after the second trip and 27 pairs of shoes later, my husband and I were talking about various businesses I would enjoy. He said, “Why don’t you open an upscale shoe store?” And the idea for Shoe Candy was born.
